I started making jewellery for myself because I could rarely find pieces I really loved and if I did I could never afford them.

I didn’t have a fixed idea of what I was going to make but I knew I wanted it to be different to what everyone else had. I wanted jewellery which had style and elegance but was practical and wearable. Above all it had to be jewellery to keep as opposed to mass produced and disposable.

After many experimental pieces using a variety of materials I evolved a style using 99.99% silver wire and a combination of semi-precious and glass beads. As my confidence in my jewellery design skills grew I started making gifts for friends and family. I only make one of each piece and people love knowing that they wouldn’t meet anyone else wearing the same jewellery.

As I am constantly thinking of new ideas for designs every time I pick up some silver wire or see some new beads I have started selling my work, even I couldn’t justify keeping all that jewellery for myself!

I hope you enjoy my work and that maybe I can share a little of my passion for owning a beautiful and unique item of jewellery.
